New Junior Guards & Returners (who took a year off) are Required to Pass a Swim TRYOUT before they can register for the program. 2025 Summer Participants are not required to try out.

2026 REGISTRATION:

Eligible JG participants, who successfully pass a >>Tryout or Returning JG's from 2025, may register on,
OPEN ENROLLMENT:

(2026) Session Dates:
🔶Session 1: June 15 - July 2
🔷Session 2: July 13 - July 30

WHEN can you REGISTer?

Program Locations:

Bonelli Park (San Dimas, CA)
Santa Fe Dam (Irwindale/Azusa, CA)
Castaic Lake (Castaic, CA)

WHEN will registration close?

Registration for Program Sessions will CLOSE:

On the first day of the program

When a Session has reached max capacity prior to first day of the program.
**(Participants outside capacity limit will be put on a WAITLIST & offered spots (in order) if/when positions become available.
Each Session has a capacity limit of 200 participants.

who can register?

Registration Requirements:

🔹 New Junior Guard participants are required to pass the TRYOUT swim test before they can register for the program.
🔹 Returning JGs (who took a year off) are not considered returning and must re-test.
🔹 Returners who participated in Summer 2025, are NOT required to Tryout and will be able to Register.

what to DO after registration?

After Registration, each Lake Location will have these Upcoming Events & Paperwork Due:

Attend virtual Parent Orientation
Sign up for Uniform Handout
Download Physical Release Form (Due by 1st day of the attended Session)
